In order to receive due service, all customers must display their service sticker and to-be-disposed of trash in a location visible from the main road. In order to start service, please call and inquire about rates and subscribe.

GVSW provides service year-round with the exception of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All routes on and directly after the holiday will be 1 day later than usual for that work week with the exception of Friday routes, which will be on Friday unless the holiday occurs on Friday. If a holiday occurs on Friday, service will be rendered a day in advance.

GVSW charges a state-mandated 10% late fee after 20 days of non-payment of current bill.

GVSW does not handle hazardous waste or toxic material disposal.

All business done by GVSW is regulated by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia in accordance with state laws and statutes. Service is provided to inhabitants of Greenbrier, Pocahontas, and parts of Monroe county in cooperation with the Greenbrier County Landfill (Solid Waste Authority).

The rates, territory, quality of service, insurance, safety, and practices of this and other companies that transport passengers in limousine or taxicab service, for compensation, or that transport household goods or solid waste, for compensation, are regulated by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia.
